Whewww! It takes a loooong time to gather up 1,000 pageviews. It's been 8 months since my previous entry so let's see if we can remember what has happened in between then and now. Well, I took Botany, Physical Anthropology, and Human Sexuality over Spring Term at PCC. They were all interesting in their own way and I learnt a lot that I never knew before! Which is kind of the point… Then I took one class over Summer Term, Art History. Boo. I don't care for Art History all that much, I never have, but hopefully I will because I have two more in the series that I have to finish for my Photography degree. Oh yeah, I graduated from PCC with three degrees under my belt and I'm all ready to transfer into Ai of Portland in the Fall! So that's all kinds of exciting! Especially because I will be going to school full time with the best friend, Anna Owen!!! [link] Even though we are in different programs we still have our schedules coalesced perfectly! I'll be taking Image Manipulation, Lighting, Art History (with Anna, probably the only class of ours that overlaps programs), and Intro to Computer Graphics.
I'm still working at Burlington… it's alright… I like all of my co-workers just fine, but I really need a job that pays more than this. Everything with the roomies has been going along just swimmingly but I think there is about to be some changes when our lease is up in December. Corinne is planning on moving to Cali for school so that will most likely disband our humble abode. I will either have to find a new roommate where I can still pay the same amount I have been, or… move… back… home…. Ughhh. I'm glad I have an open invitation back, but it's been sooooo so nice to live out on my own, away from the family drama that always seems to seep from the very essence of everyone I'm related to. We'll see how that works out.
I bought a 3DS the day it came out! I don't mind all of its setbacks, it seems like a solid piece of hardware to me. I understand all of the faults, but I also see the potential. I can't wait for some of the good games to be released, because Ocarina can only tide you over for so many years…
